This annual event is designed to connect university staff with the 福利精品在线观看 of the Registrar and learn about the services we provide to our campus. All current faculty and staff at the University of Utah are invited to attend. Attendees can select from a variety of presentations covering topics of interest provided by 福利精品在线观看 of the Registrar staff. This in-person summit will provide opportunities to network with colleagues across campus, win prizes, and learn more about the 福利精品在线观看 of the Registrar.
Breakfast will be provided by the 福利精品在线观看 of the Registrar for registered attendees.

Operations
- Registration and Records 101 Alpine: 9:30am 鈥 10:30am
- An introduction to registration and records policy and procedures. This will go over the basics of student registration processes and record maintenance. Topics will include: Class Registration, Student Record Information, Enrollment, Leave of Absence, Personal Information, Grade Changes.
- Registration and Records 201 Douglas Ballroom 11:45am 鈥 12:45pm
- An in depth look into registration and records policy and procedures. This will go over more irregular registration and record practices. Topics will include: Late registration, Drop for Non-payment, Withdrawing, Change of Graduate Classification, Irregular LOA/Deferment, Online Campus Changes, Course Career Changes and more.

- Stellic: Empowering Completion: A Unified Experience for Every Student Douglas Ballroom 9:30am 鈥 10:30am
- Undergraduate advising is about to get a powerful upgrade. Stellic, our new degree audit and academic planning platform, is designed to streamline advising and empower students to take charge of their academic journey. In this session, we鈥檒l share lessons learned from implementing Stellic in our professional programs鈥攚hat went smoothly, what we didn鈥檛 expect, and how we adapted. We鈥檒l also walk through what undergraduate advisors can do now to prepare, including reviewing program data, anticipating student questions, and aligning advising practices with Stellic鈥檚 features. Whether you're hands-on with audits or guiding students through planning, this session will help you feel confident and ready for the transition.

- In the spirit of continuous progress, this session revisits the foundational elements of graduation and curricular processes. We'll explore how students apply, renew, or reapply for graduation, clarify key concepts like catalog year and exceptions, and share best practices for curriculum proposals to align with degree audits. Whether you're new to these processes or looking to refresh your understanding, join us as we chart a clearer path for student success鈥攖ogether.

- The general catalog serves as the core resource for information about courses and programs across the University of Utah. Come and learn about exactly what information can be found in the catalog, when and how that information changes, and how this information helps to inform other student resources.
Scheduling
- Scheduling 101: Back to Basics Granite Ballroom 9:30am 鈥 10:30am
- This session will cover general scheduling principles, so bring your compass as we learn to read the map for building your class schedules. If you鈥檙e new to scheduling, or just need a basic refresher on lacing up your boots to hit the trail, this session is for you.
- Scheduling 201: The Scheduling Reboot and Strategic Scheduling Granite Ballroom 10:35am 鈥 11:35am
- I鈥檝e been wearing my scheduling boots for a while- so what is this 鈥淩eboot鈥 that I鈥檝e heard about, and what does it really mean? In this session we will delve deeper into the 鈥渨hy鈥 of scheduling. We鈥檒l discuss how to make more strategic decisions while building and monitoring your schedules, review where to find data, and also have the opportunity to hear a message from the Associate Provost for Mission-Aligned Planning regarding why schedule planning is so critical.

- Learn about where we鈥檝e been and where we are going. The Associate Registrar and Systems Manager will provide information on how strategic University priorities have been met with accomplishments to-date, and what鈥檚 on the horizon in terms of the functionality of our systems and technology.

- Come learn about where we stand in the world of transfer. We have implemented a number of procedural changes this year, and will discuss the next phase we are entering. Between process updates, state policies, new credit, and system changes, the world of transfer is ever evolving in a way to better support students, advisors, and departments. We are here to enable success for our transfer student population at the University of Utah.

Event Parking
As you arrive at the University Guest House, all attendees will need to enter via the Granite Ballroom entrance, located on the west side of the hotel. Parking at and around the venue is very limited, so all attendees are asked to park at the up the hill from the University Guest House.
